Harry Armfield

Harry is an advertising copywriter by profession, and has been writing fiction for several years, either taking periods off work or freelancing to focus on his books.

His early published books were all non-fiction, among them Cool: The Complete Handbook (Pavilion) and Status: What it is and How to Get it (Grafton). He has recently finished writing a memoir entitled A Life in Records – a celebration of the lasting appeal and sheer wonderment that vinyl records have held for him since the age of 8, with the changing decades and important events in his life associated with each choice.

Harry sees writing as the most enjoyable pastime he can think of. In addition to his non-fiction work he has written a number of novels, two of which, The Domestic Detectives and The Waiting Room now appear on Wet Zebra.
