The Great Rock 'n' Roll Swin-Doll
Synopsis
This five-piece girl band, The Sex Pissed Dolls, has already achieved iconic status in the neo-punk sub-culture. Technical brilliance is just the start of the Dolls' attributes. From punk ska to dirty rock and beyond, their musical eclecticism across these genres has generated a hugely passionate and ever-growing horde of followers. Their 2015 UK 'Never Needed Bollocks’ tour was a huge success with major venues across the UK sold out. Followed in 2016 by the 'Daughters Of Anarchy' tour, the Dolls are slated to open the Isle of Wight music festival in the summer, with dates at Glastonbury and headlnlng the British F1 Grand Prix at Brands Hatch to follow.
This is the story of their rise and rise through the indie rock scene. It's also the tale of how five young women are taking control of a previously very male-dominated musical sub-culture.
